Delaware

These are a few pictures from the Dover Beaches around Lewes, Delaware just across from Cape May, New Jersey.   There are watch towers and artillery bunkers everywhere sitting vacant for the most part as relics from the submarine war in the Atlantic that was raging in the 1930's and 40's.  The bunkers look errily like those that can be found along the Normandy coast in France.  It was still early in the Spring when I was here but it looked like there would be lots of fun things to do in the summer months.  Especially around the town of Rehoboth.
