Bar Exam

I designed and built this bar in my garage at the end of my collegiate career.  A good friend had seen some of my previous furniture designs and asked me to design a contemporary and stylish bar without breaking the bank. Through the use of inexpensive plywood and and a very efficient pattern, I was able to build the entire bar with 2 4'x8' sheets of birch ply and a couple sections of exhaust pipe, a small aluminum filler panel and a few furniture bolts.   At the end of the day I had built the entire bar with inexpensive handheld powertools on a material budget under $250.
